Seasons of Life
Life cycles to the seasons of the year,
the blooming flowers in early Spring,
joys, happiness to sadness and tears,
then we die leaving without anything.
Moments collide crushing precious time,
the season turns to the Summer’s heat,
while indulging in fantasies of the mind,
we play and enjoy those who we meet.
Soon winter comes, the air turns cold,
what once was, just no longer can be,
process of aging beckons forever bold,
a dark cloud covers what once was me.
Winter of our lives, our youth is missed,
no longer exploding from here to there,
never realizing if only we had persisted,
from whence we came we no not where.
The chilling air of Winter cast it’s spell,
frozen in thoughts, this is the very end,
does our self-serving ways lead to hell,
or is salvation found in being a friend?
