Moment of Power This very moment in time, is the place where we live, soon a memory of the mind, this second is what life gives. Reflecting upon the past, the memories we embrace, this moment will not last, vanishing without a trace. Consumed in our dreams, plans for the future days, focusing on our schemes, it is the nature of our way. In the present we�re so sad, hoping for a better tomorrow, how we live can be so bad, essence of time is borrowed. This moment, minute, this hour, holds the key to our joy and love, for it is what gives us the power, a precious gift from heaven above. Samuel E. Stone, Copyright� 2007, All Audiences

Sam, these words are written in much truth and honesty, the very moments we live holds the key to our joy and happiness because once those moments are spent, they can never be retracted. We are the holder of our lives and many of us don't take the time to know that each moment counts...it's our lives and we should enjoy every moment or they are spent uselessly.

To live in the 'moment' is the hardest thing for us. Yet, isn't this moment - be it reflection or expectation - this moment? I think so. Each moment is indeed a precious gift. Your poem gives me a lot to think about each moment.
