Recycling Way


Each dawn the morning sun begins to rise,
bringing with it anticipation and new hope,
the events of the day always hold a surprise,
engulfed in mystery often enables us to cope.

Life is but an exciting adventure through time,
as we explore new horizons that come our way,
building experience and knowledge of the mind,
giving an unique purposeful meaning to our day.

In this society consumed with power and greed,
each of us, sadly, have to struggle to just survive,
taking the steps necessary to meet our daily needs,
for in the land of opportunity selfish acts can divide.

Once again, today will end with another tomorrow,
holding on, cherishing hope while left in confusion,
the true essence of earthly time is merely borrowed,
to mortals life like death is held in a state of illusion.

With each coming new day we try to fill our desires,
searching for security in the warm summer’s delight,
by night we’re lost in the ashes of the burning fires,
all alone while our hope and dreams fade from sight.
