The mystery cannot be fully communicated;
Only the mysteries can be fully revealed.
All creatures make their own assessment;
Only with truth will their hearts be sealed.
God’s attributes are not found in a tree or leaf;
His Spirit may likely emerge from human grief.
The mystery of life found neither in tree and stone;
Breath a warm vapor that enlivens our inner zone.
The Divine Principle resembles no likeness,
That can be found anywhere on Earth.
More likely, it shines a luminous brightness,
Whose spectrum colors the world from its birth.
A casual glance may contain insight;
Eternal darkness within infinite night.
The sliver of moon a pale half-eaten apple;
The stars stir memory in the celestial chapel.
Ask those who have gone before you;
They will give you no hint to their tale.
Mystery buds, but will never fully bloom
We only recognize the scent of its perfume.
As long as there is mystery (with accompanying fear of the unknown) there will be a God to help explain the unexplainable. But, if debunked, God should step aside and let the shine of recognition in.
the mystery of all mysteries (termed 'xuan' in Chinese) consists of generation and completion of all the worldly things; that's simple. Taking a regular course of the intangible, we long for viewing the implicit incipience (generation) of everything; by taking a regular course of the tangible, we crave for observing the explicit end (completion) of things. A deep insight I'm smelling in this poem. Cheers, alex
