When he took his love Away from me It was as though He had plunged a jagged daggar Into my trusting heart
And with every lie Every public proclamation of desire For his new love He twisted, twisted, twisted And he did so with such glee
I was horrified The pain was excruciating Could he not see my eyes? The terror, hurt and fear Could he not feel My body writhe in agony?
He could not He was so immersed in the pleasure Of his brutal act
Soon, others joined Their hands over his Twisting, turning And no one saw the body Below the daggar They were so immersed In the very joy of the moment
They took great pride In their act As I suffered under the weight Of their hatred And cold heartedness
For a time I grew weak I almost gave up Ready to die From the sheer torture
But, I was stronger Than I thought
And suddenly I was able to push Myself away Away from the blade The hate The cold hearted laughter
They didn't even realize I was no longer below their thrusts
My heart slowly, painfully healed But was oh so ever bruised
And I lived I laughed And I loved
And they They are still twisting But there is no longer A body beneath Their daggar
Wonderful deep painful (important) growth write Kerry/STar

A book for every Muslim and everyone wishing to know about their way of life. The Diary of the Camp Manager at Mundihar following the South Asian Earthquake - October 2005. An account of life after the Earthquake in one of the largest of the 161 camp
This book has been eight years in the making. It is mostly a jumble of thoughts written down in old spiral notebooks and hidden in the bottom drawer underneath various manuals for software packages and hardware long since turned obsolete.
