Little Andy and His Insect Friends

A tiny tyke named Tiny Eddie is Little Andy’s best boy chum,

He lives in the village of Ripley, with his dear old grandmum.

She grows lots of pretty flowers, and she has plenty of cats,

And old Mrs. Brooks even keeps, in her attic, a feisty old bat.

Little Andy loves to visit Tiny Eddie in the English countryside,

He often asks Mr. Piddles to give him and his buggy friends a ride.

Yes, besides knowing many ancients riddles, stories, and rhymes,

Our wise old Mr. Piddles even knows how to fly through the skies.

Up, up, and away, they leave foggy old London Town,

“Hang on Little Buddies, and please don’t look down!”

So Dimly Cricket, Barney Bee, Flea, and Becky the Spider,

All tag along as Mr. Piddles becomes their very own Glider.

“Yippee, Yahoo, to the village of Ripley we fly steady,

I bet we will really surprise my best old chum, Eddie!”

Soon, they have landed in Mrs. Brooks’ lovely flower patch,

And Tiny Eddie rushes out to greet them - in a wink and a flash.

Mrs. Brooks gives them all cookies, and packs them a big lunch,

Today, they are off to explore Brimham Rocks, on a wee hunch.

Tiny Eddie says he saw a big stone that looks like a Dancing Bear,

And he swears he’s seen a Giant Mushroom, somewhere out there.

“And guess what, Little Andy, there’s somethin else you must see,

I know you won’t believe me, but at Brimham Rocks, lives E.T.!”

“I believe you, Tiny Eddie, and Mr. Piddles says he does, too,

So away now, Magic Glider, off into the wild yonder so blue!”

“Yippee, Yahoo, and a Needle Naddle Nee,

Today will be tons of fun – Just wait and See!”
