Well Christmas is finally over,

It was a wonderful day of Good Cheer;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must have been all that slurped up beer.

My humans bought me some really neat presents,

They even got me a nice new rawhide to chew;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must be from eating his new leather shoes.

Oh, how I loved the pretty Christmas tree,

It was twinkling and sparkling with shiny glitter;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must be those milk balls I found in the kitty litter.

My family danced and sang around the Christmas tree,

They even let us critters share in some stuffing and turkey;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must be that giant-sized beef jerky.

After dinner, we all sat around listening to Carols,

The Christmas music sure was soothing and great;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must be that stereo remote that I ate.

And I really loved that new stuffed animal,

He bought her a gigantic brown teddy bear;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

I think I must have swallowed all its hair.

I wonder what New Year’s will be like,

I wonder if I’ll feel any better by then;

I wonder if they’ll be serving egg nog,

And I wonder if I’ll do this all over again?

Suddenly, I’m feeling just a little bit better,

Suddenly, I’ve got a yen for Champagne;

Suddenly, I’m even getting real hungry,

Perhaps – just like them – I’m insane…

Well Christmas is finally over,

It was a wonderful day of Good Cheer;

But, God, now I don’t feel very good,

It must have been all that slurped up beer.

Geez, with all that stuff he ate, is it any wonder why we blame it on the dog?

At least HE has the excuse of having had humans "lead him astray"... I am afraid it's my own over-indulgence that is the cause of my today's sore head! Any room in his basket for another?! Wake me up 01.02.05... night, night... Kweasy Kate xx

There, there, Turby-Doo...

I see you and Little Eddie have been having little rhyme-writing sessions... your rhyme and rhythm has that infectious Kostro stamp all over it... lucky for me! cuz I get to read it!

I have some old socks you might like for a snack... but if you're planning to whoop it up for New Year's Eve, maybe you'd better stick with something soothing til then, like Bic lighters (for warmth) or jello (to get your "bounce" back!) hehe...

Note to LE: Jays, this is a hoot! (grin) katy xox.

The dog looks like my dog Bear and no he did not slurp Beer but I read in today's paper about a Bear that preferred a pricey beer over Busch beer. I always thought that goofy song was funny.

The music fit right in with the wonderful lyrics. It had me dancing around and full of that Christmas cheer that will last all year. Though what you drank tastes like it came from a cesspool tank, right back at it you went. Happy New Year.
