On the loss of Rene’s

Beloved friend Sinders

May you find comfort

Knowing his spirit lives on

In your heart and soul

Just this side of Heaven

On a sun kissed grassy ridge

There lies a wondrous place

Known as The Rainbow Bridge

When a beloved animal friend dies

That was especially close to someone

Their gallant spirit now resides here

Where they await that very special ‘One’

Here they now spend their days frolicking

Amidst the fragrant meadows and green hills

Here they patiently await their human friend

The One who had always given them such thrills

The One who had always been so very kind to them

The One who had always been their very closest friend

The One who had loved and comforted them completely

Until the day that their time on earth had come to an end

The horse Sinders now frolics here with other animals

But a day will come when he will pause stop and stare

For it will be the day his spirit now diligently waits for

The day that he spots his very special One standing there

Sinders’ now vibrant spirited body will quiver

And suddenly he will race away towards his One

Galloping faster and faster through the lush fields

Jubilant that his devoted days of waiting are now done

And as this human and her cherished friend Sinders

Now fondly and contentedly look into each other’s eyes

They will both cross this ancient Rainbow Bridge together

And for both human and animal - this truly will be Paradise
