Today, We’ve Got a Very Humorous Dog Detective,

And He’s One of My Favorites, No Doubt About That

In the entire pet detective world

None other than Atlantic City, NJ

Drinkin, Gamblin, Drugs, and Girls

But he knows these wild streets

Better than anyone else around

He’s our own Ruff ‘N Ready Rufuz

The Sharpest Pet Detective in Town

If any pet is in any trouble around here

Ruff ‘N Ready Rufuz soon sniffs them out

And when the perpetrators see him comin

They soon tremble and high tail it all about

He patrols these wicked city streets

Twenty Four Hours almost every day

Every pet in Atlantic City knows him

And soon every pet abuser’s gonna pay

Whether there’s a pet kidnapping for ransom

A strung out car hop who’s harassin a tiny mutt

Or a drunken gambler throwin beer cans at a cat

Detective Ruff ‘N Ready Rufuz soon kicks their butts

Ruff ‘N Ready Detective Rufuz also has a human sidekick

Who many compare to old Watson, Detective Holmes’ friend

And just like the very humorous old Sherlock Holmes himself

Our Detective Rufuz likes to kid his human friend without end

“Where we headin tonight, Rufuz?”

“Why, it’s really elementary, my dear Matlock!”

“It is?

But I keep telling ya that it’s Matlack,

With an ‘a,’

Not Matlock, with an ‘o,’

Like that other real old guy on TV.”

“Precisely, my dear Matlock!”

“Huh?!”

“And it’s quite dark out here, my old friend;

You can take off your sunglasses now.”

“Gee, Thanks, Rufuz!”
