HOw sad. I feel so bad for poor little minnow. No one likes to lose loved ones but her story is just so sad how she tried to groom them and nurse them. Why cant man kind just leave animals alone an stop all the cruelty.

Boy, this sure was gut wrenching and just tears my heart out to know one of God's creatures is stressed and suffering so. Taking in a pet, any pet is a responsibility and that is what is lacking today, no one wants to take responsibility for anything. I have to ask though, why mutulate an animal because of mankind's stupidity? The owner of this beautiful kitty is at fault, not the kitty....

ooohhhh so sad she deserves much better care and treatment and now she will get it.

I found a stray one time, years ago, on our quiet country road. It looked Exactly like Minnow, and was half-starved. I loved the kitty to maturity, but sad to say, it died only three years later. The vet said it had "too many strikes against it, from being dumped in the first place."
Heartbreaking, yes it was, but as you said...it happens all too often.

Sweet Minnow deserves all the love and caring from a kind soul. A pox on her original owner! These types of messages breaks my heart, but need to be told! Thank you, Ed.

A heart wrenching story Ed, if we really cared about other little creatures except our own, and even that is questionable, we would have every pet born registred and neutered , mandated by law, if we were as concerned about those loving creatures, we would know everyone of them by name and who they are, and who they belong to, like no human body leaves this earth, without it been known how and why, it certainly would attain some responsibility on to the owners wouldn't you think, if no pet body ever leave this earth or be abandoned, whithout caring wherefrom and why. It is a value system that we put on life, not just our own, and a very sad, and immoral one. I can see many not be allowed across that bridge that in your native traditions, have to walk the gauntlet of animals on each side, paradise will most likely be denied them there, as it is here, for not knowing an animals loving heart.
