I totally agree. With Sarah Palin (not) in office would truly be terrible for our wolves. I wrote a paper on the Alaskan wolf slaughter and looked up information on why it was started. Nothing I found mentioned anything about other factors like a harsh winter low food or disease or a bad mating season, to why they were being killed. All this killing must stop or they will be next to be extinct and meet the black rhinos in the after life. Then they will be gone forever, not just gone from another continent. Great write.

NJ in its infinite wisdom and ability to do the right thing as slow as possible, never sent me my voter registration card/info, so another election will pass without my vote...and to think I started back in July to get this set up...typical NJ...Ed

You know, there are so many animals that are under the gun so to speak that it soon becomes overwhelming to keep up with it all. Perhaps some sense will come out of this and mankind will learn to live and share life with all the animal bretheran.....

what a wrenching graphic, franklin was right

Sarah Palin missed her calling. She should have been an actress. She learns her lines quickly and delivers them with verve and excitement. It's the content of the lines I have a problem with --- and the ones she doesn't deliver on the stump, but that you know are lurking in the background. You know the ones I mean --- those that acquiesce to the superstitions of witchcraft, to promotion of killing of wildlife using methods that do not comport with the rules of "fair chase." And also to regulation, not of the activities in the rooms of Wall Street where apparently they don't care about us, but instead to the rooms where we receive care from our sex partners and our doctors.

Dear brother, the can and will no stop until every inch of America is finished strip-mined, drilled and all covered with parking parceled asphalt from the Golden Gate to Plymouth Rock and from Niagara to Key West. OMG, I've seen this Ed on one of the ADs it makes me so sad. A few years ago Colorado voted to bring back the wolves in this state and they are doing well, Some upset but mostly have accepted it. They were all killed her and instinct. I thought what if every state had done that, we could never have these beautiful misunderstood wolves here now, We must THINK before we illimanate any creature from this earth.
