It seems like forever
Since Green was ‘In’
But I happily see signs
That ‘Green’ may begin
At this year’s Detroit Auto Show
They are finally touting, electric cars
And now, we’re developing ‘wind energy’
That perhaps, just might take our children far
Our new President wants to create ‘green jobs’
And he says, we’ll finally perfect ‘alternate energy’
Plans are already underway, to plant trees, on landfills
Hopefully, our children’s future holds a ‘greener economy’
We have very sadly neglected nature and ‘green’ for many years
The naysayers all proclaimed that it was not America’s responsibility
We have been consumed with greed and self interest, for far too long
And I sincerely hope our new leader will now lead, for all of humanity
And if and when we do begin to heal Mother Earth;
Perhaps, we might finally even begin, to heal ourselves.

I didn't vote for him, but I gotta respect him; he IS our leader now! And I can pray for him and his family! :)
Fire those Bush put in! Such as BLM, Interior, EPA, etc
As it is Palin is still in control in Alaska and our Gov. here in FL is no "Green Saint"
But thanks for your optimism anyway - I will hope and ACT GREEN!
