Three Eds, Down Mexico Way

“My Canuck Posse Just Captured The Ed Brothers!”

Fiendish Fee, The Cantankerous Canuck Constable

South of the border - down Mexico way

That’s where we Eds had now wandered

We were just relaxin, out there on the beach

After we gave them the slip, yet one more day

Apparently, Fee’s Posse had gotten a bit confused

And they had rounded up the Fred Brothers instead

“I think we got plenty of time for some bird watchin!”

Me and Jersey Ed roared, a hearin what old Edvard said

“I figure that those crazy Canucks are still baffled,

Good old Ma had sent them on a Wild Goose Chase;

She never did care too much for those Fred Brothers!”

Our crafty old brother Edvard said with a smile on his face

And how were we three Eds to know

That we were perched on a nude beach

We were just down there, a birdwatchin

Mindin our own business, Eds now at peace

But eventually, we three Eds heard those old mission bells

Tellin us (ding-dong), that also here, we Eds could not stay

So, we then leisurely headed northwest, to sunny California

But we had us quite a good time, down there old Mexico way

And now, as we three Brothers Ed, again wander

With all those crazy Cunucks, still nowhere in sight

To south of that old border, down old Mexico way

Our thoughts are on birdwatchin – it’s such a delight

PS: In fairness to those Crazy Canucks,

We do look a lot like those Brothers Fred;

But I’m a nicer brother than their Pee Wee,

©2009, and I love birdwatchin, Pee Wee Ed
