“Blood's thicker than water,

And when you’re in trouble, boys,

Best to seek out a relative's open arms.”

One of Momma Ed’s Many Sayings

And after Brother Edvard’s drag queen poem,

I just can’t seem to get this song out of my head.

We hadn’t been here in California very long

And we’d already been booted out of Frisco

And those very irate Indians were still after us

So Jersey said “Now where the heck do we go?”

Sadly, the Gold Rush was already over

But this California, was a real huge place

“So let’s head on over, to old Sacramento!”

But Jersey now had a huge frown on his face

“Sacramento? Ain’t it always cold and rainin there?”

Now our old Brother Edvard gave him his best Ed stare

“A little rain and cold ain’t gonna hurt us Eds none,

Besides, I know a good place for us to hide over there!”

That’s when he pulled a faded old photo from his pouch

And at that treasured old picture, Jersey and I now stared

It was a picture of our half sister, our dear old Tiger Lily Ed

We now remembered that she had moved out there, long ago

Jersey got all choked up, and a few tears rolled down his cheek

“If you think that we’ll really find her, on to Sacramento, let’s go!”

Old Brother Edvard truly is a most cunning Ed brother

He knew that Jersey Ed loved Sister Tiger Lily, the most

So we three Eds now gathered up our meager possessions

And we blazed a new Ed trail, inland from the California coast

lol. Glad you guys are in California and I'm way inlaid. You all have fun out there and try not to cause too much trouble. I can just see California finally slipping into the ocean, never to be seen again with you 3 out there. Go easy. Take care. Liz

Tiger Lil, trouble is coming your way, you wants to talk to Rose, give her a call, if that don't help and the injuns are still on their trail, chief Winnetou and crew might do you a favour, his number is three times six, short and long lifting the blanket for smoke signals, but if there is too much rainy season where you are, there might be a signal you can send on the wireless to Eds, Apachee princes wife finds out him in drag, wow, there is all kinds of help, thought I tell you for you're such a nice lady! Hugs!

Dragged me out of bed,
