It was the snowiest February on record
And, more snow is predicted for today
But, my dogs have all been teaching me
That any type of weather, is actually okay
Their canine wisdom, is always therapeutic
They don’t languish, in human Winter Blues
They know how to enjoy, each and every day
And, they don’t dwell on all our negative news
None of them ever mind at all
If it is raining, or if it’s snowing
They don’t even mind very much
If the frigid, arctic wind is blowing
They simply enjoy being outside, in nature
They look forward to our saunters, together
Whether it is sunny, cloudy, rainy, or snowy
They truly relish life – in any type of weather
They all woke me at the very crack of dawn, today
They were very eager for a snowy walk in the wood
So, I quickly donned my boots, my hat, and my parka
And, I soon discovered that this snowy morn, was good
It was the snowiest February on record,
And, more snow is predicted for today;
But, my dogs have all been teaching me,
That any type of weather, is actually okay.

I miss that! Here at 'ol Lake Stinkhole in FL' - life has not gone to the dogs but "to the CATS"! And they ain't walkers, rollers in the dirt and grass and pissers on my house but you can't walk with 'em.
But damn, somebody's got to do his part for the strays around here and being retired, it looks like I'm elected. BUT then whatever species, I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND!
