There has been a strange sighting

On the beach, at the Jersey shore

Many are baffled by this odd sighting

And there are now speculations galore

“I think it was a Blob Fish!” said one

“No!  It was Ziggy, from the cartoon!”

As I pondered all the numerous reports

My dear old mother was calling me soon

“Pee Wee!  Did you see all the news reports?

Has your brother gone out to the beach again?”

“I think that he did Ma, and he really looks pale!”

“I think some good tanning lotion to him I will send!”

So Jersey Devil Brother Ed Matlack, don't worry

Our dear old Ma is sending you some tanning oil

You should call and thank her, and send her flowers

Our dear old Ma still worries about her little Jersey boy
