-There Is Never A Dull Moment With Dogs-

Music: Another One Bites The Dust

Dashing Little Valentino, was in all of his glory
Strutting around yesterday, in his new Easter Hat
But alas, it fell into one of our shredding machines
Nothing around our house, for very long, ever lasts

I awoke in the middle of the night to a strange noise
It sounded like someone was shredding up some fabric
I caught Shadow in the act of destroying Valentino’s Hat
And I confiscated what was left of it, so he wouldn’t get sick

And this morning, poor Little Valentino looks extremely sad
His latest Holiday fashion accessory, is already in the trash
I tried to explain to him, that we have shredding machines
And I promised that I would find him a new replacement hat

Adorable! My old retriever used to go mad for stockings; she'd worry and toss them about as if they were red-hot potatoes. That'll learn you to hide the Easter Eggs from him! :) xx

That is tragic. But, with shredding machines around, to be expected. If you have them, they will be used.

My brother boarded his 13-year-old Golden retriever with his stepdaughter and her two dogs while taking a weeklong stay in Arizona a month ago. When he returned home to Indiana and brought Rocky back to the house, he discovered (I saw the evidence, a picture) that Rocky had got in the trash of the mail he looked at the night before, and shredded it all over the floor. In all his life, Rocky had never done anything like that before.

Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks…

Ron

Since his old hat,
was shredded and destroyed,
I hope the new hat,
leaves Valentino overjoyed.

I think Shadow needs some chew toys.
