safer now that Dad has disappeared,

walks with careless grace. 

Wearily raised by too-young Mom,

at three knows not that the phrases

to describe her advent

rang less than enthusiastic.

One would never know to look at her.

One would suppose she was the dream child

of two majesties hoping for an heiress

to their vast kingdom..

Adored by Grandma and Pop,

still a child of God,

She redeemed an ugly episode
