Some say of me that I am but a dreamer,
and that my life lacks the substance to become a worldly achiever.
They say of me, and some in a most cruel and selfish way,
That I fail to see the world for what its really made.
They say I dream of peace and love for our fellow man,
And that this is a mindless delusion that will never stand.
They say that I dream of equity and fairness to one and all,
And that this too is a hallucination and the biggest of them all.
Yes, they say I am a dreamer…
But nay, for I say, I am a believer,
For I do see the coming of that day,
When all will be treated with respect and honor,
And not the malicious hatred that is the worldly way.
Oh yes, I see the coming of that day,
So therefore a dreamer I am not,
For I long ago learned how to pray.
Thus separating with a boldness
The line between a dreamer
And a believer.

Just what I needed at this moment my friend, excellent work my brother. Now shall we all keep on dreaming and continue to believe-Take care,Charlie
We are closer to that day than far too many skeptics think!
I enjoyed your thoughts on this very much.
We learn to pray and we learn to believe in prayer as we get older. Great write Allen. Lisa
