Together we have been, for twenty and ten

And I love you even more now, than I did back then.

I see you in my mind, and feel you in my heart wherever I go,

and I long to hold you in my arms forever, and watch our love grow.

I cherish these days under Gods glorious sun,

And pray in earnest that our life’s battle will be won.

This is a certainty of how my heart truly does feel

Yet somehow, other effects in our life came quietly to steal.

For there are, many things that I fail to understand,

One being is how you could love someone like me…this solitary man.

I fear that selfish I have been, so very selfish in our twenty and ten.

For there are so many challenges which race through this thoughtless mind

And I struggle to give unto you what you deserve the most….MY TIME.

However, with so many dues in this life to pay, and so little time to make my way.

I feel that I have neglected what I truly love best….that my love, being you.

So forgive me if you can, and never stop loving me…
