To drown under the weight of air,
sends my life spiraling into despair.
For I feel that I can no longer breathe,
As long as for you I must grieve.
Yet how can I just dismiss, our life as commonplace?
When all that will remain, are the dreams that we have chased.
What now must I do, with the memories I have with you?
Should shrines to our life be amassed and built,
Or would this just exemplify a soul racked with guilt.
And what shall I do with all your sacred things,
for to see them still would bring forth my silent screams.
Maybe these conclusions that which to my mind have come,
Are just premature fears and mere fallacies of mine.
For it is my prayer, that our dreams remain true ,
And the malady that assails you is but a ruse.
So take care my lady of light,
And fight back with all your might,
Never give in, and never succumb,
For to me, you will always be….
The only one.
