Deep are the reflections, which are culled from this turbulent day,
Leaving gritty impressions of life viewed in another way.
For there is silent, hatred, which lingers beneath stones unturned,
Giving forth their evidence of life’s lessons bitterly learned.
For yesterdays yearnings are derided by tomorrow’s guilt,
Giving proof of hope deferred which like a gentle flower, does wilt.
For I have laid eyes upon the cynical reflections of this day,
And have discovered that both truth and honesty have lost their way.
For evil now are the deeds of men,
For it is they, who call evil good, and good a sin.
