To have never known you,
Would have created the saddest shade of blue,
To have never held you close in my arms,
would without doubt brought unto this life, an irreparable harm.
To have never tasted the tenderness of your tantalizing lips,
Would have been more than enough to call it all quits.
To have never been able to call you mine,
would have easily destroyed both my soul and mind.
For you are to me, all that ever was, and all that will be.
You are the comfort that keeps me, you are my serenity,
for you are the smile that adorns my aging face.
You are my lady, full of loves gentle grace.
Happy am I, for I have always, yes always..... known you.
