Silver wings
And soft iridescent dreams,
Mingle sweetly with the wine
Of another place and another time.
A place where children are laughing
And pretty songbirds are singing,
a place to reflect quietly on my dreaming.
For my eyes see still,
And your ever present spirit I feel,
One, which grants a solitary peace
To this searching soul of mine.
So I will bow to face,
And stand in humilities place,
And dance with the silver wings of my mind.
For you are with me, no matter the place or time.
