Issues Unclean

Shallow fields void of dreams

Forcing issues from those unclean

For hallowed were those sacred times

when water became divinity's wine.

For lepers were healed

And waters stilled

As blessings fell

from heaven's well.

For peace on earth had taken on life

as the Pharisees of darkness, brewed hate and strife.

Yet, little could... or would they know

That even in death , His spirit arose.

Thus forcing the darkness into the light,

And giving man a new hope, with freedom from the night

For the son of man had risen and His salvation has come,

giving sinful man a new reason to live

and security in the race that must be won.

The race is always ahead of us and we are always attempting to catch up. Perhaps one day harmony will be within reach and our heaven will allow us to step over the edge and be free.
I like this poem. It is tender and wise.

Loved this crucial passage Allen " as the Pharisees of darkness, brewed hate and strife."
These are the hypocrites with their phalacyteries and tassels , who condemnened and crucified our Beloved Saviour..so that holy scripture could be fulfilled !1

Shalom / Peace
