Silver Tongue
Drops of madness from a silver tongue fell
As a man without character, to the masses wove his spell.
For lies were good, as lies he does tell,
As the spin master spun and won his following from hell.
for goodness and truth soon became arcane
as his evil sought and bought a hundred souls a day.
For times of trouble has sung this most unfortunate tale.
Which all began when drops of madness from silver tongues fell.
For it is deception, not the exception that is now the rule,
As the simple pass on and dance to the song…sung by a fool.
For it was plain to see, for those who cherished wisdom that in his words which from his heart were spoken,
Were but mere shadows of a hollow truth, which bore the fallacies of liars token.
For they were filled with unrighteous venom, and built on promises broken.
Oh pity them all,
Who heeds his call,
For they have eyes…but do not see,
And they have ears…but do not hear.
And now they have pledged to him their souls for eternity.

the deceived, as they are filled with a demon spirit! That's
why the gift of discernment is so important. I'm glad you have
it my friend.
