A Lowing Wind
A sad and lowing wind
whispered into this night,
bringing with it a warning
Of a forthcoming plight.
Visions carried by sound....
dark
ominous
Profound.
filled with angels
who tread at edge of wood,
watching
waiting
prepared to shatter
unseen dimensions
which unto this darkness
Abound.
for goodness of light
has came forth
To fight.
as evil begets
evil,
And goodness...right.
whispering winds
from angels flight
carry somber sword of truth
Into glories light.
with battle a-rage,
wisdom departs
as old men die
for loss of sight
On this unseen stage.
with swords aflame
and piercing the sky
hallowed soldiers proclaim
Their victory is in sight.
yet many shall succumb
and sorrows abound
before final victory is won
And we all reach holy ground.
