Sex And Money

As my painting nears its conclusion...Leah shares another poem

Sunday, August 22, 2004

Hello everyone! I have to come adore all of you as much as Allen does. You are all quite charming, and speak such beautiful, magical words.  The following poem is one that I wrote entirely from imagination!  Sooo, had I given the characters any names, they would not have to be changed to protect the innocent. Errr, I don't think anyone is innocent in this writing.

Maybe some day, Allen will write a play script from the following scenario!  OK..here goes...(grin)....(wink).

SEX and MONEY

In a cheap hotel room

The bed squeaks and rattles,

And from the darkness,

Words are breathed with passion.

Sighs pour from her painted lips

As her body responds to his fingertips.

"Your first time?" he shyly asks

"Why yes," she answers much too fast.

But he doesn't notice!

Caught in the heat of the moment

Overwhelmed by lust for this beautiful woman.

In a cheap hotel room

Her hand slides down

Fondling that treasure that she has found…

In the wallet of his jeans

On the floor by the bed,

For her lust is directed there, instead.

From a side closet, the camera runs

While her friend hiding there, holds a gun.

"Take it! Take all of it! Just don't tell my wife!"

The rich man offers all he has for his life.

Desire and Passion and Lust fulfilled

A whore falls asleep in a cheap hotel.

This is well done. Really good description in this work. I'm sure this scene has been replayed for too many people.

Dear Leah,

Well that's what happens with greed and lust,
and it can sometimes get you killed.

Very wise and true words expressed in your poem.

thanks for sharing

Warm hugs

Another lesson for the virgin victim. Greed and lust....how many times must someone learn before they fall or either followup with a positive redemption? Great poem and ask Allen to share his art with us one of these days!
