I can hear them...can you?

Voices

Voices bleed

Beneath a darkened sea,

Giving breath unto their dying dreams

For hell hath made

These prison bars,

Which destroy all hope,

And all dreams from afar.

So subtle though, are they

Yet in their substance firm,

That traps are laid,

Amidst our desire to learn.

For we are of the natural man,

Who in our lust for knowledge,

Fell away from Gods plan.

As in the beginning

We were dust….

Who then became woman and man.

However, our light was betrayed

And unto the darkness we became slaves.

So, hush now

And hear their cries

As beneath the darkened sea…

Their voices continue to bleed.

So well done, thought provoking write. Some profound truth here.

Allen, an especially well-penned poetic composition, illustrating the importance one needs to remain vigilant and constantly seek out a higher authorities wisdom, love and guidance my friend. Well-done. Take care and be well. Keep The Faith.

Allen, Allen, Allen! Those are angels voices
you hear! Singing for you!
Dark, disturbing, but good.

disturbing. i could hear their (our?) voices. but surely there is room for a little redemption, a little light to find its way to us if not to those lost to the darkened sea? just thinking out loud. the poem speaks well to your talent for probing writes~
