Stones So Cold
Oh what dreams beneath these stones do lie,
which sprang forth of hope, from the living in life.
Oh now, if these stones could only sing,
How many sonnets of love and loss would they bring?
For there are works untold
Which lie beneath these stones of cold,
And the words that were never said,
Will stay forever with the dead.
So speak up now
and unto this day create,
For when beneath these stones so cold you lay,
It dear one, will be too late.
So let not a single day go by,
That you not speak openly of your love for life.
And teach this to those all around,
That they too may be fulfilled
Before their time comes
to be planted beneath this ground.
For life is grand,
No matter the day,
Be it in duress
Or lingering pain.
Oh, how I thank Him
For every breath I take,
For to not say anything
Would be a fatal mistake.
How sweet is this thing, we call life

You have pointed out what we all should keep in mind
To not waste time, say what we need to, and not hold back!
Thanks for this one !
