Many Are We

Our numbers are in the millions,

Yet you say no.

We are strong, yet so weak,

And still you say,

We are not even worthy to bow at your feet.

YET

We are the reason you are who you are today,

Yet still you say no,

And bid us to get out of your way.

YET

It is you who fails to understand,

That it is we,

Whose number is millions, which will inherit this land.

FOR

We, shall persevere

We, shall overcome,

WE

Through His grace

Shall see the coming of a better day,

FOR

We are millions

AND

You

When all is said and done,

Will be…

All alone

And withering

In the presence of the SON.

Allen, you really nailed it with this poetic treasure, my friend! Absolutely incredible declaration of faith! I loved it! Thanks for the pick me upper! Yes, I do believe Satan will be standing all alone, still wondering why He cannot enter the true Kingdom of universal tranquility! Take care and be well.

my only question is who's the "you" here? my prayer would be that all peoples would see the coming of a better day and turn toward a loving God who loves each of us as a precious child.

Powerful message. As long as the Son still invites and the spirit still draws I'm not sure it needs to be an us against them issue... Nice write.
