Uncertainty
Behold and marvel the momentary glimpses of a simpler time
as they softly brush the memories held fast by a weary mind.
For the days of our lives spin and churn at such a maddening pace,
that the reflection which stares back from the looking glass
no longer bears a resemblance of youths glowing face.
For lines now cavort across once smooth and supple skin,
Bearing silent witness,
Giving proof,
That in the end,
Time never looses,
But always wins.
Yet momentary glimpses of youth's simple sweet time
Ever so often, kiss the fragile mind,
Giving proof of a soul bound by eternity
As we sigh a sigh of relief about life and its uncertainty.
