Damnations Call:

Blessed are the minds that chase hither the deeds of light

As the dark passages of regret resist not the night.

For they lay now unto the stars

which shine from high on heavens throne,

lifting thus our forlorn solitude

from its dreary, weary home.

They release now with their eyes so bright

a fitting wisdom, which the ages so aptly speak.

For come those now into our minds

Come those now…

Who surpass the test of time.

Those who chase not the darkness,

but His everlasting light.

As they are forever

the forbearers

of all that is holy and right.

So hearken…listen…lend your ear,

Cast out the darkness

Confront your fear.

For a new day is soon to arrive,

carried on the wings of glories most high.

Up high past darkest of night

Soaring…

Soaring …

Towering above it all

Overcoming the silent rage

of

Damnations call.

"Cast out the darkness ~ Confront your fear." I need to tell myself those things a thousand times a day. This is magnificant, Allen.

Hi Al

You really got a nab on this style. So this was kinda two poems, first a statement of "stars" content, ever, and then your second half. some of the language I thought was so piercing, just kinda made its way to ya, stark I think would be a good word. These poems seem to me anyway to be deeper than most attempting the subject. I can't realy write the subject myself, as I get so lost, so thank you Allen, Al
