The Sun And The Ever Darkening Sky:

Though there be dark clouds

which on horizon loom.

Black and ominous

Filling our fleeting,

drifting thoughts

with that of misery and doom.

Forever now, it seems

Casting their cold dark shadows

across a once resplendent sun,

 seeking to devour

the soul which has come undone.

Yet, however, within that very soul

 lies a hidden strength,

 which has the ability

to keep it whole.

So never, mind the night

Or the darkness therein

Cease now to worry

over such impending plight.

For its stench,

Its vileness

Its unsavory depravity

All shall

quickly pass

For nothing but forever

will permanently last.

And if that forever

Is built upon the foundation of light

for it is so overwhelmingly true

that thy faith will indeed

make thee whole,

So, worry not

over the coming of night.

Worry not will I

Nay….not this day

For there is a gentler peace

which lies beyond

The ominous clouds

of the ever darkening sky.
