Love Touched My Face Today:

What touched your face today?

"Love touched my face today,

tender of passion, sweet of taste."

What did this love have to say?

"Oh that a thousand suns would die,

Before ever my heart would ever again sigh."

How did this love make you feel?

"It singed my mind and branded my soul,

It filled my heart and made me whole."

So pray tell, where did this love take you too?

"Oh whereunto did it not go?

For past stars and moons

And galaxies untold,

With visions and dreams

Yet to unfold…

Oh whereunto did this love

with its great and many wonders not show?"

How did such a love come your way?

"Come?… why It came forth from the Father above

As I in broken spirit began to humbly pray."

Will this love forever stay by your side?

  This love that touched my face today,    

promised that with me it would forever abide.

It said that it would never leave

And that to my spirit it would forever cleave."

Well, what did you say when such a love touched your face?

"I spoke little except in praise,

For I within glory's inception

was consumed in the love of grace."

Yes…oh yes…Love touched my face today.
