Carry On

Oh carry on my dear…oh carry on,

Through the dark and ominous valleys…

 through this life's tumultuous storms.

Though I know, your burdens are many

and unto your smiling eyes they do abound,

but carry on my dear, oh please carry on,

Lest our hope eternal be not found.

For the days of your troubles,

pour down upon you like a monsoon rain

Filling your mind with questions

Amidst a silent and lingering pain.

So, carry on for my sake,

Carry on another day,

For a life without your gentle face

Is more than this soul can take.

For I could never face tomorrow,

When filled with such mournful sorrow.

So carry on...

Carry on..

But not without me,

No…not ever.
