Requiem Of Heart

Today I stand in harmony upon my blissful shore,

Feeling the power of serenity knock sweetly upon my door.

Essence of sanity from the requiem of my heart required swift flight,

That I, in peace of mind may arrive…before the fall of night.

Oh how this place has become a needed balm to me,

And if I were to pass this night, I will have at least, done by the sea.

So greetings to all you folks in this wonderful den,

Greetings to you all from my paradise…

its Tybee time again.

Allen, another beauty and I'm so envious of your view. I am always so inspired by the ocean and am mesmerized by it's pull...ebb and flow. Lovely! *sigh*

I can truly appreciate the healing power the sea has for lovers, it is often the sea is thought of as theerfect place to meet, enjoy and renew romance but it is also used to ease heartache and has marvellous recuperative powers in that regard. As a maritimer surrounded by the sea I know this from experience. Enjoy Allen.

Let me get my rod and reel and my many and assorted hooks and run on down, I like the look of that fishing pier there...as soon as I saw the pic, before opening the poem, I knew you were in your place to recharge your batteries...find peace, Al, I wish I was there with ya...Ed & rufuz
