I Am He

I heard thy call from the darkness within,

As ye gasped, clung, and dispossessed convictions black sins.

Desperate now are thee with thy cries in this elapsing night,

Yet always fearful were thee of goodness and its forgiving light.

For ye hearkened to foul spirit of winters dark lair,

You went in hither without regard or cause of despair.

Pray tell what is this foul grievance that clings to thee

Which may have caused thee thy separation from life and its giving sea?

Hast the sounds of thine own voice brought forth this pain,

Or was it the buggering of forces external as thou so didst claim.

For unto thee this night, it is plain for mine eye to see,

That thou oh ye wicked one, shalt never… never escape,

For it is unto this path most traveled,

and unto this scarred and crooked wicket gate.

That therein ye shall perish eternally

for thy sins unto damnations sake.

It will be here that ye shall

 forever cry out my name

Asking of me my forgiveness

and praying from within thy shame.

 Yet I shant answer thee,

For not once, but thrice

You denied me,

 claiming ye knew me not.

Yet, now I shall deny thee.

For I am… HE.
