Alone

I am falling into confusion,

Without any sign of solution.

Dodging the dominos as they fall,

Realizing too late that my back is against the wall.

With no where to turn, and no where to run,

I see implosion is as imminent

As the setting of my disasters sun.

Therefore, I hang my head to cry,

I consider things too terrible to try.

For I have lived my life unwise

I have played the fools game,

Only to in burdens crouch realize,

That no matter how hard I try

No matter how much I strive

The walls continue to close in on me.

Nothing soon…but this empty room,

Nothing as far as the eye can see.

For its coming down…

The walls…the dominos

The once laughing clown…

All to be gone

The laughter,

The joy

The once brighter home…

Oh God

I cant do it alone.

this is very sad, but i read your wife's response first so I wonder if you are going thru a depression and feel all alone or if you are distancing yourself for some reason

Fortunately for you,
You got the other half to help you get through,
Me? I only got my mutt,
So as far as I am concerned,
I will just sit here on my butt,
Living out life in our mobile hut...Ed
