The Kiss Which Cometh By Night
So of this kiss, which cometh by night,
Built not of loves tender passion,
But of tribulations dreadful plight.
For of this kiss, even the strong do tremble
As wispping shadows of darkness covertly assemble.
Sudden fear grips quickly the heart.
As fast memories collate and then swiftly part.
The mind dulls as the senses abandon,
Giving unto a cold abyss as it softly encroaches.
Then darkness becomes thy eternal companion.
Nothing but silence now…nothing but the dark
Nothing left but a perpetual night
With all hope lost in the closing light.
So, stand fast and steel thy heart
For the days of night, be not far.
Be strong and tremble not in fear
For the kiss which cometh by night
Hath drawn ever so near.

It is such a true feeling of today and so many and so passionately written.
