Serpents Kiss

From behind a vale of mist, I felt his presence

as I heard his dark serpents hiss.

Lost now am I on these blackened plains of broken desire.

For I wandered in hope, yet never loosing the vapor

That has become my ever constant companion…the shadow of my soul.

I never reached the goal that was set before me.

And all is silent now.

For the mist of my vapor enshrouds me.

As there is no light, just darkness

and I now taste of the serpents kiss.

 It is over now,

 finire….

as this vain one gives up his soul.

Scary yes but holds many true affirmations of end times.

I agree with Eileen. This one is very scary. Extremely well written and should be a warning to many. I've already written to you, but I'll thank you again for including me in your bookstore.

shuddering a bit, Allen. dark even for the master of dark subjects and seemingly lacking in the spirit of hope. being in the doldrums myself today, can't hold that against you, though. the serpent is always slithering about in this life, is he not? know about the vapor and the shadow and the serpent. remember the light whatever else you do.
