Little Doggie Gone

In the stealth of a coming night,

I make plans to end a little dogs plight.

New neighbors do we have on our street

crack heads per say and with a little dog they do beat.

I can never understand how anyone can be so mean

as to harm an innocent puppy and over it gleam.

It has nearly and completely broke my heart,

as my wife tonight told me of how this puppy became so scarred.

She said that despite how cruel to it they can be,

that when they return from wherever it is they go,

the little puppy will dance with joy when of them they do see.

Yet ignore it though they do…or give it a slap on the head,

They scold it with vulgarity and then toss it a crust of bread.

I can tell you all that one night very soon…

Lil Al will sneak over there after the setting of the moon.

In the cover of dark I will slither and glide,

I will free this little puppy to save its life.

I just pray that the Lord will protect me,

for if confronted by these crack heads,

there is no telling what will become of me.

For I may light into them of the likes they have never seen,

they will think that this crazy old man is a real fighting machine.

I cannot stand for anyone to anything be so mean…

I am seething and grinding now hard on these computer keys.

Yet never fear…I will save this puppy so dear.

And if these dopers know whats good for them

they too will develop a healthy sense of fear.

And if they give you any trouble, call me, and I will show them what it is like to be treated like their doggie...did it work out? Ed

Call the Animal Rescue Department of your local police department and report the cruelty anonymously. There's always ASPCA abd then...there's our own Dead Poet who'll get this taken care of for the little animal hurting.

Elizabeth makes a solid suggestion ... crack heads are unpredictable and there's no sense in becoming a victim of their abuse though i totally empathise with your frustration ...

Call the humane society.
Most cities have animal cruelty departments, or you can be referred.

People who abuse animals are people abusers too.
