There comes a day when one must decide.

Do You…..?

Chains that bind tear into the mortal flesh,

Voices snarl in dark anger

“Do you love Jesus”?

“Yes I love Jesus”!

Irons hot sear to the bone,

Skin melts…agonizing pain.

Guttural murmurings again say…

“Do you Love Jesus”?

“Yes I love Jesus”!

Teeth gnash amidst screams,

Visions elapse

Come now the comfort of dreams.

Evil remonstratively proclaims,

“How can you love Jesus,

When He brings you such pain”?

“Because”…

“He first loved me”

Hammers blow,

Blinding light.

Fist rise in anger,

Demons proclaim…

“Last chance to renounce His name”

“So, do you love Jesus”?

“Yes I love Jesus”!

Fell swoop of hot steel,

No more pain…

Glory bound…

For He is real.

This is fascinating. It paints a horrible picture of pain and evil then turns around and repaints it as hope. How is this possible? Jesus Saves. We will be hated for his namesake. He warned us of this but he will never turn against us.
This has to be your best work yet,
