The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want….
Yet it is unto this still darkness that the unclean flesh cries out in its need.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Yeah, but before the eyes of man, the fields of desolation loom, hot now on a desert wind as the tempest of an angry sea so mightily this spirit consumes.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yet it is unto the depths of a betrayal lead by spirit deft of soul; which is unto this path laid on and unto the very steps of sheol.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Yeah, but quake does he, this sordid man without repentance of soul, tremble he does as the darkness which is prepared by himself consumes this squalid man on whole.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Yeah though mad runs he before the camp, and with parched tongue does he cry, for before the bounty of goodness, the pestilence of his lust shall overtake him as the pyres of madness smolder beneath his feet where the worm never dies.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
To this it shall be if thine own heart be pure, yet for the days of the unrepentant, they shall be like none ever known, for they shall reap damnation as it was the damnation in the flesh that they had sown.

This is so true from a sinners heart and thoughts, the poem is for those that beleive in Gods promise. Those far away see the half of darkness that lies around and before them.. This is one of my favorites.. I beleive this is a poem here for the parts of it of setting a table before mine enemies.... You did an excellent job on this view of this Psalm by David..... God Bless,
Joselyn
