Your Hearts Whispering Fate

Warm wet tears glisten like tiny diamonds upon your saddened face.

And time has now left hence the foulness of disillusionment much to your hearts bitter taste.

I watch you from afar, yet also so very near.

I watch as you weep for the tender warmth of love lost which has broken your very will.
I cry softly of soul for you as you do for me.

I cry as the sweetness and joy has turned unto you most brackish and bitterly ill.

The phone rings, yet you answer not, and life on the street below goes on creeping ever forward into the menacing dark.
Children down the hall scream with laughter with thoughts of their silly youth.
You listen half annoyed, and in the stark aloneness you cry  some more.

The night of day has now fallen chasing the suns sharp shadows from your simple room.
You stare wretched into the blackness and blame God above all for your gloom.
”It used to not be this way” silently you thought,
you were happy once, and you had the proof… didn’t you?

So pray tell what has brought you unto the darkness of this day?
Is it because you are so afraid to be alone that you feel this way?

“Yet hear me if you can and speak not ill of God above,

trust in Him always and forever dwell in all His love.”

Then a white light with mottled blue sparked against an alabaster bust on your dresser.
And the damning sound of distant thunder echoed the words…”nothing last forever”

You roll from your bed of misery and crash wicked upon an unyielding floor.
You crawl on hand and knee with tears now streaming down your face.
You cry out from anger, you recoil in fear, you plead with the darkness and scream
Take me now too dear God, for I cannot live like this any more.

Yet nothing but the gentle rain on the streets below greets your still small voice.
For in your grief you have pondered too long out the window of yesterday
therefore unto it rendering the windows of your unknown tomorrow forever closed.

For what was before now is no more. And what will be is for only you to see.
So hush my love, brush aside the web of darkness and seek once more to be free.

Though I am no longer with you in this, your physical world of today.
I am my love always in spirit near and never more than your hearts beat away.

Though this body of clay has returned back to the dust,

There will always be what we were… if in Him you hold in trust.

For I stand just on the other side of an unseen realm and wait.

I stand ever ready and nevermore further away than your hearts whispering fate.
