Last Rites Of A Righteous Man????

Father as we gather here today to pay our respect to this dear departed soul, we ask that he find comfort in the shelter of your loving arms….

“God? Are you God? What are all those people doing, and why do they weep?”

“They weep for you son. They ask of me to take you into my arms to forever keep.

“Yet, you did not hearken to my voice nor of my command keep.

“You thought you were bound for eternal glory by the power of my forgiving hand.” 

 “However the principles of my Holy truth you failed to justly understand.”

“Nay Lord, this cannot be, for I bid to you in your service every step of my way”

“I laid hands upon the sick; clothed the naked and fed those without a home.
 “I gave it all to you every day lord, so how be it now that to you I not belong?”

“You failed me in my simple command… It is true that you laid hands on the sick in my name, true that you clothed the naked and fed those without a home, but in all this, you failed in the humblest of all my commands. Therefore you shall not sup at the table of the righteous tonight. Yours days hence will be filled with darkness through the eternal separation from I, the Lord Thy God.”

“How can this be so Lord, for I come to you with all my love and respect. I still cannot see how it could be that I failed your command?”

How can it be, for I beyond doubt with all my heart do not and cannot understand…
