Oleander Skies
Sweet kisses, soft goodbyes.
Pink Geraniums; brush an oleander sky.
Trumpets bellow oh mournful tune.
Coming; oh coming now so soon.
Forgotten tomorrows steal blissful yesterday.
Derringers loaded sorrow calls my name.
Wistful dreams meander into a simpler past.
A thought forgone; all alone, the die is cast.
Oh sweet kisses and soft goodbyes.
Life remembered amidst an oleander sky.
Oh Sweet kisses…
