All Things Temporal

Crashing tidal emotions scour times sand eternal

Massive stone monoliths succumb now to the sea.

Fortresses of time; bastions bound not, yet falling still they be.

Crumbling towers carried distant on quandaries fickle breeze.

Say, who now when upon these rocks do stare?

Who now of flesh and blood, that mortal man should think?

Should they ponder that from ravages of time that they do better fare?

Nay, for all is temporal; this earth, this sky; even you and me.

 Proverbs 27:1
King James Bible

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Right now is the birthplace of tomorrow. What I do/say/think/feel creates my future, every moment. You have done a splendid job of capturing living as a constant conception. Nice work!

JAllen all things are temporal especially in this world. and we are not to lay up worth here either or to grow to fond of here for we never know what tomorrow will unfold for our destiny except praise the Lord with hope in our Salvation it holds HEAVEN! This is another Powerful pice.

Blessings,

An intellectual version of "nothing lasts forever" and a damn good one, you sure you didn't live in the distant knighthood and such past...? Ed
