So Goes It All
Tandem thoughts steal reclusive of mine own device.
Bring now cancelled memories on lackluster pearls of ice.
Stones thrown on still ponds redeem now the fading shore.
Remains of simple yesterday decay on hopes evermore.
Eyes uplifted and hearts perforated by an ancient quill.
Angels gleefully soar; battles fought for sovereign will.
Doomed debauchery singled out and brought quickly face to face.
Chancellors of every imagination all to oneself bow in silent disgrace.
So goes this worm which crawls secretive into the night.
So cometh the revelations of purities claim by morning light.
So goes it all; the feigned, empty wisdom of man…
So goes it all to which we will never understand.
