Listen To My Whisper

If these eyes were to never see another day.

Then to you my love; this vision I hold will never fade.

If this heart which beats true should fail to carry through.

Then to you my love take of this comfort in my truth.

For though the hour wanes; altruistic is this hearts soul.

Give I now this unto thee; a sound hope, unadulterated love ever shown.

So tarry not by the old pier, and wait not long by the open sea.

For this heart chained once by infirmity now soars anew and free.

So come now as I whisper, come ever so near.

The dreams are closer now; listen and know not to fear.

Come now my love and listen to my whisper…

A beautiful poem. Sadly, in reminds me of my sons and the whisper of their deaths.

I hope you are well,
Kathy

A whisper is more dear than any voice echo there is . This touches me for so many, many reasons.
Thank you!
